We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2021, at the age of 80, Patricia Griggs of Cedar Creek, Texas, born in Norfolk, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Serena Edwards and Irvin Lee Edwards Sr.; and her husband John Robert Griggs. She is survived by: her grandsons, Robert and John Burnham of Cedar Creek, TX; her siblings, Linda Edwards Dixon, Charlotte Clayton, Judy Salyers, Sharon Edwards, Irvin "Bo", Jack and Ralph Edwards; and her close friend Mary Ann Lee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

When I found out after I talked to mom (your daughter (Tricia) I dropped to my knees and cried so hard. Of all people God had to take you away from us right now? I don't understand things like this sometimes. My grandma just died 3 months ago exactly and I couldn't believe it and she died sudden too.. I am going to miss you oh soooo much!
