Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elaine Ely of Cedar Creek, Texas, born in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 76, on September 4, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver Craig and Merna Allen Craig; her husband Richard Mount Ely; and her grandson-in-law John Self. She is survived by: her daughter Darlene Benoit (Jim); her stepchildren, Launa Sprouls, Carol Ann Nelson, Bonnie Simpson, Renee Williams and Heather Burton; her grandchildren, Rebekah Caka (Travis), Hannah Self Pressoir (Drew), Mark Benoit (Katie), Paul Benoit (Brittany), Sarah Fotovich (Daniel), Daniel Benoit, Joel Benoit, Benjamin Benoit, Elisabeth Haiker (Joshua), Thomas Benoit, Abigail Benoit and John Benoit; her sisters, Janice Collins (Scott) of Connellsville, PA and Carol Bowers (Paul) of Tom's River; and her sister-in-law Linda Kridle (Bernie) of Scottdale, PA.. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
