He was predeceased by: his parents, Captain Delmar Leidy Sr. and Jean Blaylock Leidy; his sister Melanie "Smokie" Dickerson; and his daughter Heather Anne Leidy. He is survived by: his wife Kaye Terry; and his sister Greta Weaver of Johnson City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Del would prefer a donation to International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
