She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Cummings and Bobbie Cummings; and her sister Carolyn Cain. She is survived by: her spouse Deborah DeHay; and her nephew Westin Womack.
As a Non-Commissioned Officer in the US Coast Guard Reserves, she was active in the NCOA Run for the Special Olympics and received an award from the Joseph P Kennedy Jr. Foundation.
