He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Haby and Ella Bippert Haby; his parents-in-law, Ulrich and Florence Kempf; and his brothers-in-law, Delvin Bippert and Gilbert "Gibby" Kempf.

He is survived by : his wife Janice Kempf; his daughters, Stephanie Rihn (Reesie) and Dr. Phyllis Stone (Jim); his grandchildren, Jessica Armstrong (Jamie), Justin Rihn (Angela), Allison Davis and James Stone; his great grandchildren, Adalida Weynand, Corbin Rihn, Trace Armstrong and Ava Rihn; and his sisters-in-law, Evangeline "Sissy" Bippert and Sylvia "Susie" Kempf. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials can be given in Stephen's memory to St. Louis Catholic School, Medina Valley Education Foundation or charity of your choice.
