He was predeceased by: his parents, Tereso Aguirre and Elisa Martinez Aguirre; his brothers, Romaldo M. Aguirre and Pedro "Pete" M. Aguirre; and his brothers-in-law, Ernest Perales, Maurice Morrissette and George Beeton.
He is survived by: his wife Josefina "Josie" Aguirre of Castroville; his sons, Mario Aguirre (Sandra) of Denton, Alberto C. Aguirre of Castroville and Samuel A. Aguirre (Phillip) of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Crystal Carruth (Matthew), Andrew Aguirre and Matthew Aguirre; his sisters, Clara Perales of Castroville, Dominga Morrissette of Castroville, Hope Stevens of Lytle, Martha Beeton of Dallas and Josie Aguirre of San Antonio; and his sister-in-law Christina Aguirre of Castroville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
