It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond E. Ortiz of Castroville, Texas, born in Natalia, Texas, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Leonardo Ortiz; his daughter Melissa Jeanette Ortiz; his brother Henry Ortiz; and his brother-in-law Tony DeLeon. He is survived by : his mother Delia Huron Ortiz; his wife Eloisa Ortiz of Castroville; his children, Randy A. Ortiz of D'Hanis, Michael Cisneros of Castroville, Pamela Cisneros of San Antonio, Monica Lerma (Stanley) of San Antonio and Erica Camarillo (Raymond) of San Antonio; and his siblings, Howard Ortiz (Yolanda) and Marilyn DeLeon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
