She was predeceased by: her parents, Felipe C. Martinez and Isabel Val Verde Martinez; her husband Florentino T. Benites; and her children, Victoriano, Florentino Benites, Jr., Diana Trevino, Dora Villarreal and Belinda Alonzo.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jovita Benites, Isabel Martinez, Tanislada Moreno, Bonfacio Martinez and Porfirio Martinez; her grandson Isaac Benites; her children, Maria Alvizo (Joe) of San Antonio, Jose Benites (Beatrice) of Brackettville and Joel Benites (Rosalinda) of New Braunfels; her siblings, Felipe Martinez, Jr. of Brackettville and Celstina Hernandez of Brackettville; and her close friend Darlene Salinas. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
