He was predeceased by: his parents, John K. George and Katherine George; and his brother Demosthenes George. He is survived by: his wife Athena George of Castroville; his children, John George (Patricia) of Reston, Virginia, Dawn Mayo (George) of Hondo and Jacqueline McIntyre (Scott) of Port Orange, Florida; and his grandchildren, Michael, Catherine, Kaitlyn, Mark and Jeffrey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home (1016 Lorenzo St, Castroville, TX 78009). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
