He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Lascano Garza and Angelita Pedroza Garza; his siblings, Herlinda Garza, Jose Garza and Pablo Garza, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Ray Ruiz.
He is survived by: his children, Philip Garza of Houston, Miranda Garza Wells (Robert) of Vallejo, Eddie Garza (Michelle) of Castroville and Paul Garza (Josie) of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Jonathan Garza (Juliette), Zachary Garza, Josiah Garza, Henry Wells, Sarah Garza, Abigail Garza, Elizabeth Garza and Mateo Garza; and his siblings, Lupe Ruiz of Castroville and Thomas Garza (Nettie) of Castroville.
