She was predeceased by: her parents, Severo Herrera and Anita Martinez Herrera; her husband Carlos Elizondo; her children, Rudy Alvarez and Sonia Salas; her grandson Anthony Espino; and her siblings, Lorenzo Herrera, Rita Herrera, George Herrera, Guadalupe Herrera and Ignacio Herrera.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Elizondo (Mary), Daniel Elizondo (Rosario), Roland Elizondo (Melissa), Lorenzo Salas, Mary Ann Leano (Alfred), Linda Espino, Sandra Elizondo, Alma Elizondo, Patricia Pryor (Greg) and Emma Salazar (Eric); and her siblings, Teresa Salazar (Manuel), Carolina Valle (Joe), Jesse Herrera (Maryann), Richard Herrera, Mary Anguiano, Irma Ortiz (Rogelio) and Cuca Rodriguez. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
