She is survived by : her parents, Carlos Mendez and Irma Garza Mendez of Castroville; her husband Paul Flores of San Antonio; her children, Alisia Curiel of San Antonio, Patrick Mendez of Castroville and Julissa Flores of San Antonio; her grandchild Kai Villarreal; her siblings, Carlos Mendez, Jr. (Olivia) of San Antonio and Joanne Mendez (Anastacio Curiel) of Hondo; and her grandmothers, Esperanza Mendez and Alicia Garza.
