She was predeceased by: her parents, Felipe C. Martinez and Isabel Val Verde Martinez; her husband Mario F. Martinez; her son Rene Martinez; her great grandchild Kendra Alvarez; and her siblings, Jovita Benites, Bonfacio Martinez and Porfirio Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Ruben Martinez (Yolanda) of San Antonio, Jose Martinez (Betty) of Hondo, Norma Martinez of Castroville, Leticia Alvarez (Lino) of Castroville and Romelia Garza (Chris) of Castroville; and her siblings, Felipe Martinez, Jr. of Brackettville, Celstina Hernandez of Brackettville, Tanislada Moreno of Quemado and Petra Benites of Castroville. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
