He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Leron Owens, Sr. and Eleanor K. Franger Owens; his stepfather Hilmer Ebert; his former wife Patsy Ann Owens; and his sisters, Barbara Saul (Bob) and Mary Guerra (Johnny).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Owens of Castroville; his children, Harold L. Owens III (Stephanie) of Hondo, Lisa Coldewey of Castroville, Debra Owens Franz (David) of Devine, Regina Coldewey of San Antonio and Kevin Coldewey of Castroville; and his siblings, Connie Antonikowski (Richard) of San Antonio and Robert L. Owens of Tyler. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
