He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Hecker of Castroville; his children, Mary Barnhart (Gerry) of Schaghticoke, Patricia Hecker of Houston, Michael Hecker (Christine) of Boerne, Tresa Shalit (Andrew) of Castroville, Rita Anderson (Scott) of Austin, Ed Hecker (Norma) of Castroville and Tom Hecker (Theresa) of Castroville; and his daughter-in-law Kadi Hecker of Castroville. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
