It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freeda West McBroom of Castroville, Texas, born in Sudan, Texas, who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett P. West and Callie Etter West; and her son Kenneth Paul McBroom. She is survived by: her husband Louie R. McBroom of Castroville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
