He was predeceased by: his parents, Adra William Rowland and France Kunz Rowland; his wife Janice Rowland; and his grandson David Ortiz. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn'Sue' (Richard Chavez) of Somerset, Sandra (Jerry Thompson) of Rosepine, LA and Richard Rowland (Steven Rowland) of Castroville. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren.
