It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Frable Roper Crooks of Castroville, Texas, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Frable and Dollie Bland Frable; her husbands, Charles William Roper and George Crooks; and her sons-in-law, Stephen F. Castiglione and Arthur Arevalos.

She is survived by : her daughters, Karen Arevalos (Michael Kortz) of La Vernia and Dianne Castiglione of Castroville; her grandchildren, Matt Castiglione (Jessica) of Rio Medina, Jeannie Maney (Steve) of Littleton and Shelly Roper (Art Garza) of Stockdale; and her great grandchildren, Marin Castiglione, Morgan Castiglione, Ashley Krayenhagen (Blake), Kayleigh Kruger and Katie Maney.
