He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert August Henke and Elizabeth Kathrine Syring Henke; his siblings, Margaret Jarzombek, Leona Kenney and Hubert "Shotsie" Henke; and his brother-in-law Robert 'Bob Bayer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Henke of Castroville; his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Diane Henke of Bulverde; his daughter Kathy; his son-in-law Bryan Griffin of Castroville; his grandchildren, Logan Griffin (Shelby), Krystal Vaughn, Chelsea Griffin and Mariah Henke; his great grandchildren, Remington Pack, Knox Griffin and Atley Griffin; his sister Irene Boden; and his sisters-in-law, Polly Bayer, Ruth Shell and Linda Bayer Johnson (Don).
