We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2019, at the age of 89, Adelina Salazar Gonzales (Castroville, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abelardo Salazar and Sulema Corrella Salazar; her husband Ernest C. "Buddy" Gonzales; her son-in-law Gilbert John Vasquez; her siblings, Hermencia Proffit, Jesus Salazar, Alfredo Salazar, Arturo Salazar and Esperion Salazar; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Gray, Joe Puente, Roger Gonzales and Lupe Salazar.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Ester Vasquez; her grandchildren, Gilbert John Vasquez II, Gabriel John Vasquez and Venus Mari Vasquez; her siblings, Beatrice Charbonneau (William), Estella Puente, Roger Salazar (Teresa) and Alberto Salazar; and her siblings-in-law, Susie Villarreal, Sarah Gray, Mary Ester Gonzales, Fred Gonzales (Maria) and Roy Gonzales. She is also survived by twenty-one nieces and nephews as well as numerous great nieces, nephews and other relatives.
