He is survived by: his wife Martha Barnard; his children, Sondra Lyle (Johny), Rick Taylor (Trudy), Roger Taylor (Robyn), Sharlotte Porter (Jerry) and Shawn Taylor; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Wallace, Ceselie Tobin, Carmen Taylor, Casey Morgan (Mark), Daniel Taylor, Amanda Carson (Louie), Jacob Taylor (Taylor), Reagan Johnson (Scooter), Treston Taylor (Mary), James Porter, Hunter Porter, Alex Sartor, Abigail Craford, Asa Gaul, Aaron Gaul (Leslie) and Andrew Gaul. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Veal Switch Baptist Church (3393 TX-11, Hughes Springs, TX 75656). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
