She was predeceased by: her son Tommy Lee Maxey; her brother Prentice Edward Jones; and her brother-in-law Donnie Kasper. She is survived by: her husband Andrew Maxey of Carthage; her sons, Ricky Wayne Maxey (Sheila) of Marshall and Steve Maxey (Sandra) of Carthage; her sister Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Jones Kasper of Carthage; her grandchildren, Ethan Maxey, Erica Maxey and Jessie Maxey; and her great grandchild Leah Rose Maxey.
The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
