He is survived by: his former wives, Wanda June Stephenson and Patsy Ruth Stephenson; his wife Patsy Stewart of Carthage; his children, David Stewart (Sue) of Carthage, Kenneth Stewart (Pamela) of Tyler and Anita Bridges of Carthage; his stepchildren, Ralph Hooks, Ricky Hooks, Helen Hawkins and Betty Jo Daniels; his siblings, Ray Stewart (Nancy) of Jacksonville, Mary Hill (Dale) of Avinger and Mavis Powell (O. C.) of Carthage; and his sister-in-law Ilene Stewart. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
