He was predeceased by: his parents, Emzley Jasper "EJ" and Bernice Marie Terry Harris; and his grandson Michael Will Harris. He is survived by: his wife Anitra Harris of Flatwoods; his sons, Shaun Harris (Kerrie) of Deadwood and Dustin Harris (Tara) of Flatwoods; his sister Connie Rogers (Milton "Bubba") of Joaquin; his grandchildren, Madison Harris, Dalton Harris, Mason Harris, Jasper Harris and Levi Harris; his nephew Kade Rogers (Meredith) of Joaquin; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kannon and Karson. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
