She was predeceased by: her parents, Burley Tompkins and Nellie Ruth Alley Tompkins; her adoptive daughter Karen Lynn Whipple; and her brothers, Charles Eli Tompkins and Jimmy Ray Tompkins.
She is survived by: her husband William Kiper; her children, Toni Rene Roberts (Richard) and William Thomas Kiper (Crystal); her grandchildren, Karen Lynn Mathis (Jeff), William Bryan Jacks, Weston Elliott Kiper (Zoe), Della Gayle Kiper and Lucy Emma Grace Kiper; her great grandchildren, Teagan Marie Jacks and Elena Grace Kiper; and her close friends, Heather Litton, Ken and Kathy Bellmore.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Youngblood Cemetery (4803 FM 124, Beckville, TX 75631).
