She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman L. Shirey and Sally Sickles Shirey; her spouse Bertis "Bert" Seegers; her grandson Brandon Seegers; and her son-in-law Philip Waldrop.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Seegers (Trisha) of Carthage, Mark Seegers (Donna) of Dallas, Elizabeth Waldrop of Carthage and Janet Davis of Carthage; her brother Truman Shirey (Patsy) of Carthage; her grandchildren, Kevin Waldrop of Carthage, Patrick Davis (Kirsten) of Carthage, Erik Davis of Carthage, Lauren Seegers of Austin, Laken Seegers of Austin and Blake Seegers of Carthage; and her great grandchild Michael Brooks Anderson.
