She was predeceased by: her father Sam Vernon George, Sr.; and her brother Buster George. She is survived by: her husband Rondal "Ron" Amburn; her sons, Kevin Stephens (Donna) and Scotty Stephens (Bernie); her siblings, Sam George (Carol), John George (Hannelore), Rufus George, Mary Crowell, Ivan George (Clara) and Dollie Lindsey (Chris); and her grandchildren, Kailey, Ashley and Elora Stephens. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
