It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Grimes (Carthage, Texas), who passed away on January 17, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Billy Haltmar Grimes; her siblings, Dick Wroten and Delores Harris; and her brother-in-law Troy Harris. She is survived by: her sons, Phillip H. Grimes (Cynthia) of Carthage and Steve W. Grimes of Carthage; her granddaughter Catherine Grimes Wilson (Ben) of Dallas; her great grandchildren, Ruby English Wilson and Benjamin Harris Wilson, Jr.; her friend Ruby; and her children, Samford Ave, Shreveport and Panola. She is also survived by niece; five nephews; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
