It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Allen Sherman of Carthage, Texas, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Ann Sherman Klein and Robert M. Sherman, Jr.; and his sister Katherine Leeann Sherman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ella; his children, Davis (Kristi), Lainey Finch (Dan) and Kate; his grandchildren, George Sherman, Isabelle Sherman and Mary Belle Finch; his in-laws, Tommie George and Mary Lu Davis; his stepmother Jeanine Sherman; his siblings, Haag Sherman and Nelwyn Sherman; and his aunt Mary Hanson.

In lieu of flowers, the family has designated the Carthage Independent School District Education Foundation or the Panola College Education Foundation for memorial contributions.
