It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Williams of Carthage, Texas, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter P. Williams and Mary Dean Williams; and his siblings, Charlotte Scott and Ronnie Williams. He is survived by: his wife Dolly Hodge Williams of Carthage; his children, Chris Williams (Heather) of Beckville, Jason Williams of Carthage, Dakota Williams of Georgia, Marcus Blalock of Gadston, AL, Brandy Bridges of Carthage, Amber Williams of Georgia and Angela Blalock of Carthage; his siblings, Johnnie Plunkett (Patti) of Warren, Tawhanna Rice of Beaumont, Brenda Pierce (Kenneth) of Beckville, Lois Hess (Jim) of Highland, IL and Jeanene Eaton (Rusty) of Tyler; and his friend Johnny Yates of Carthage. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
