As Rex Lee departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rex Lee may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rex Lee leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Deward Lee "Duck" Graves and Nello Ritter Graves; his wife Beverly Graves; and his siblings, Johnny Graves and Jean Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Deward Graves of Carthage and Kay Hawthorne (Jerry); and his brother Lynn Graves (Darline). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.
Mr. Graves was a long-time cancer survivor and donations to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital may be given in lieu of flowers.
