It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nettie Ruth Robertson (Carthage, Texas), born in Corsicana, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buck Hood and Vera Tipton Hood; her husband Don Carlton "Hoot" Robertson; and her brother Don Allen Hood. She is survived by: her children, Jesse Carlton Robertson (Crystal) of Gilmer and Pebbles Knight (Roy) of Gary; her brother Gene Hood (Merrill) of Ruston, LA; her sister-in-law Karn Albright (John) of Tyler; her grandchildren, Rendi, Robert Waldon, Rollen, Vanessa Robertson, Riley, Julie Robertson, Amanda, Christian Lightfoot, Rachel Robertson and Briana Calderon; her great grandchild Robbie; and her close friend Teresa Digilormo Shaw of Carthage.
The family suggests memorials to the Panola County Cancer Coalition.
