We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2022, at the age of 70, Mike Courtney of Carthage, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Mitchel "C. M." and Alice Pauline Singleton Courtney; his brother Billy Courtney; his brother-in-law Bill McIlwain; his nephew Eric Abel; and his great-niece Chelse Montgomery.
He is survived by: his former spouse Tatum Feed Store; his friends, Fun and Heavenly; his wife Tina Hampton-Courtney; his children, Brandon Courtney (Jordan), Luke Courtney (Holly) and Cassi Courtney-Goolsby (Clay); his siblings, Joe T. Winn (Loretta), Sharon Abel (Kelly), Jimmie Courtney (Anita) and Karen McIlwain; his sister-in-law Sally Courtney; his cousin Karlos Courtney (Donna); and his grandchildren, Haylie, Caitlyn, Michael Ann, Madison and Jeremiah.
In lieu of floral offerings, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family by purchasing one of Mike's CD's.
