She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Guin and Carrie Ann Self Guin; her husband Cecil Jake Bettevy; and her sisters, Opal Bryant and Earlene Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, Cecil C. Bettevy (Eileen) of Shreveport and John M. Bettevy (Sharon) of Heath; her grandchildren, Adam Bettevy, Brett Hoang (Tien) and Ryan Bettevy (Kimberly); her great grandchildren, Logan Michael and Aubrey Ann Bettevy; her close friends, Hal, Elaine Palmer, Beth Golden, Judy, Chilton Stuart, Bill, Sandra Rhorer, Bob, Susie Cowen, Melissa and Bryan Turner; her nieces, Mavis, Pat, Kathy and JaNell; and her cousin Bill Coody.
