She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ike and Edna Christine Holley Shelton; her husband Braxton LeRoy Cash; and her brother Johnny Shelton. She is survived by: her children, Rex Cash, Michelle Buchanan (Chuck) and Lenval Cash (Joanne); her grandchildren, Sharlyt Asher (Everett), Brigitte Buchanan (Jason), Charles "Chuckie" Buchanan (Katie), Christopher Cash (Allison), Montana Cash, Samuel Cash (Saray), Beth Alvis (Gordon) and Jennifer Holly; her siblings, Aubrey Shelton (Maxine), Juanita Welker (Bobby), Eddie Shelton and Ray Shelton (Gloria); and her sister-in-law Judy Shelton. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Waldrop Cemetery.
