He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Copeland and Pauline Elizabeth Casselle; and his brother Raymond Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Bea Copeland; his sons, James Copeland (Tiffany) and Kevin Pitts (Liz); his grandchildren, Gracey Copeland and Katelynn Pitts; his sisters, Kathryn Schexnayder (Johnny) and Connie Easley (Jack); and his sister-in-law Laverne Copeland.
In lieu flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Ebenezar Methodist Church.
