It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linval Allen Johnson of Carthage, Texas, born in Gary, Texas, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burtis Johnson and Virgie Johnson; and his brothers, Laverl Johnson, Richard Johnson, LeLand Johnson and Cleon Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Johnson; his children, James Ray Johnson and Wendy Johnson Gibbs; his siblings, Larry Johnson, Lester Johnson (Virginia) and Nelda Stephens; and his grandchildren, Heaven Henson, Haleigh Hodge (Fernando Garcia), Bailey Hodge, Bradi Jo Briery, Isabella Faith Briery, Kendall Henson, Brooklynn Hodge and Gabriel Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
