We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2019, at the age of 88, Laura Shivers (Carthage, Texas), born in Shreveport, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Grady Shivers, Jr.; and her brother Horace Richmond Allison, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Jane Stroud (Robert) of Garland and John Grady Shivers (Bonnie) of Carthage; her sisters, Naomi Turk of Ashville, NC and Frances Bachman (Joseph) of Neenah, WI; her grandchildren, Timothy Shivers, Suzette Shivers Hachmann (Abe), Jacqueline Shivers Rider (Dane), Mark Shivers (Monica) and Cara Stroud; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Emmett, Easton, Ann, Felix and Conlan. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
