She was predeceased by: her sisters, Charlene Butts and LaVaughn Rhodes. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Edwin "T. E."; her daughters, Rhonda LaGrone (Dennis) of Carthage, Donna Bell (Chris) of Carthage, Connie Browning (Robert) of Taylor, AR and Sharon Hastings (David) of Carthage; her sisters, Margaret Cooper of Porter and Helen Rhodes of Porter; and her grandchildren, Brandon LaGrone (Kelly), Ashley Brewster (Eric), Brack LaGrone (Lacie), Clayton Bell, Amy Knight (Josh), Justin Bell, Brittany Nichols (Luke), Robbie Browning (Kamryn Riddle) and Paige Hastings. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Mission Carthage Women's Shelter, P. O. Box 1208, Carthage, TX 75633 or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
