She was predeceased by: her parents, Flem McMillan and Ethel E. Toney McMillan; and her brother Flem McMillan, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband George Larry Whitehead; her children, Marcus Wade Whitehead (Cristi), Bryan Eric Whitehead (Jennifer) and Michaela Ann Whitehead Lenox (Wayne); her siblings, Shelby Wayne McMillan (Sarah), Dennis Clyde McMillan (Beverly), Larry Dwain McMillan (Debbie) and Bobbie Gene Latham (Carroll Dwain); and her grandchildren, Andrew Scott Whitehead, Brianna Paige Shumate, James Cody Shumate, Reagan Danielle Whitehead and Maxwell Greer Whitehead.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Winnie Morris and Joyce Whitehead Sunday School Addition building fund at Rock Hill Faith Community Church.
