It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joshua Gene Parker of Carthage, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Billy Gene, Marie Cordova, Floyd and Virginia Parker. He is survived by: his grandmother Shirley Walker of Gary; his parents, Richard Parker and Wendy Parker of Gary; his children, Justin Parker of Carthage and Lindsey Parker of Carthage; and his sister Ashley Bailey (Eric) of Laneville. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
