He was predeceased by: his stepfather Billy Ray Thompson, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Renee Metcalf; his children, Caleb Metcalf (Kandace), Lani Kendrick (Chris), Ashley Whitaker (J. C.), Hunter Dale LaGrone (Alexx) and Jasey "Birdy" Williams (Lance); his brothers, C. Metcalf and Billy Ray Thompson, Jr.; his grandchildren, Camryn, Kreed, Addy Kendrick, Sawyer Metcalf, Brooklyn, Blaire, Cutter Dale LaGrone, Kyson and Kyler Whitaker; his in-laws, Dale, Carolyn LaGrone, Shaun and Kerrie Harris; and his nieces and nephews, Madison, Mason, Levi Harris, Jake and Rana Metcalf.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hawthorn Funeral Home (307 W Wellington St, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel (307 W Wellington St, Carthage, TX 75633).
