He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Reese and Grace Florence Bellamy Wedgeworth; his wife Mary Elaine Wheaton; and his siblings, Tracy Wedgeworth, Walter Aubrey Wedgeworth and Juanita Clinton.
He is survived by: his children, Jody Wedgeworth (Evelyn) of Carthage, Virgil Wedgeworth (Kristi) of Carthage and Theresa Mills of San Antonio; his brothers, James L. (Dorothy) of Carthage and Grady Bill Wedgeworth (Jane) of Carthage; and his grandchildren, Brody Wedgeworth of Carthage, Jake Wedgeworth of Denton, Morgan Nichols (Jamie) of Carthage, Emmie Wedgeworth of Carthage, Dalton Wedgeworth of Carthage, Bryan Mills (Debra) of San Antonio and Chad Mills of San Antonio. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
