She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Faulkner and Essie Maye Faulkner; her husband John W. Brooks; her daughter Sandra Lynn Brooks; her sister Nell Brightwell; her great grandchild Miranda Alexander; and her son-in-law Tim Harkrider.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Alexander (David) of Carthage, Cynthia Harkrider of Carthage and Lisa Cockrell (Mike) of Carthage; her grandchildren, Dr. John Alexander (Misty), Kelly Blackerby (Scott), Billy Alexander (Ashlee), Dr. Tim Harkrider II (Toni), Kip Harkrider, Micah Cockrell (Lindsay) and Cara Bardwell (Blake); her great grandchildren, Jody Alexander, Seth Blackerby, Navy, Brooke Blackerby, Hunter Alexander, Conner Alexander, Dylan Harkrider, Reece Harkrider, Meredith Harkrider, KJ Harkrider, Laney Harkrider, Brooks Cockrell, Paisley Cockrell, Cooper Cockrell, Blair Bardwell and Brody Bardwell; her great great grandchild Trace Harkrider; and her nieces, Ronda Merritt and Tami Snider.
