It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Pennell Bazer of Carthage, Texas, born in Sarepta, Louisiana, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Louise Biggers; and his brother David Bazer. He is survived by: his children, Gary Bazer (Ashley Elizabeth) of Colorado Springs and Tanay Phillips (Richard Elgin Phillips, III) of Longview; his brother Gary T. Bazer (Hope) of Keithville, LA; his sister-in-law Judy Boyd Bazer of Doyline, LA; his grandchildren, Landon Heatherly, Braydon Heatherly, Jackson Bazer, Hope Bazer, Rebecca Bazer, Ashley Saenz (Cameron), Kyley Phillips and Marley Phillips; and his caregiver Nancy Lee of Kilgore.
If desired, the family suggest memorials be made to the Central Baptist Church in Carthage.
