He was predeceased by: his parents, James Floyd and Jeania Webb Qualls; his brother Daniel N. "Danny" Qualls; and his son David "Shorty" Qualls. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Qualls of Carthage; his children, James N. "Jimmy" Qualls, Jr. (Melinda) of Beckville, Michael D. "Mike" Qualls (Robin) of Natalia and Penny Qualls Attaway of Shreveport; his daughter-in-law Shannon Qualls of Terrell; and his siblings, Billy Qualls (Margaret) of Tyler and Mary Ann Luman (Gene) of Forney. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
