He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Loveless and Opal Webb Cotton; his grandson Richard Daniels; and his sons-in-law, Lester Fannin and Mike LeRoy.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Cotton; his children, Charlotte Fannin of Beckville, TX, Kenneth Cotton (Joanna) of Riderville and Carolyn LeRoy of Ringgold, LA; and his siblings, Charles Cotton (Bobbye) of Conroe, Douglas Cotton (Peggy) of Beckville, Linda Wilkerson of Lindale and Judy Walker (Mike) of Center Point. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
