We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2021, at the age of 77, Helen Cox Smith of Carthage, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Cox and Eather Cox; her husband Jessie; and her brothers, Jesse, Charles, Clyde, Claude, Carl and Ernest Cox.

She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth Walker, Jean Spinks and Clarene Cox; her son Michael (Susan Howell Smith) of Shreveport; her grandsons, Kevin Smith of Tyler, Josh Smith (Stephanie) and Ryan Smith (Kaylia) of Stonewall; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Kyzer, Wyatt, Stryker, Makenna and Roman; and her sister Jewel Craig (Glen) of Shreveport. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
