He is survived by: his wife Patricia McDonald of Carthage; his son Darren McDonald of Dallas; his grandchildren, Katy McDonald of Austin and Eilish McDonald of Dallas; and his siblings, Howard McDonald of Houston, Gloria Jean Risinger, Belva Hoffman of Magnolia and Garvis Rayborn of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
