It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Lynn Dodson (Carthage, Texas), born in Athens, Texas, who passed away on December 24, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Dodson and Pearl Dodson; his siblings, Mildred Yancy, Charles Ray Dodson, Daniel Dewey Dodson, Sarah Elizabeth Robertson and Betty Jean Crawford; and his brother-in-law Clark Sanford.

He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Billy Dodson and Sallye Ann Sanford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
